About AmyBeth Ranieri
AmyBeth Ranieri is a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor and academic coach, with 15 years of experience working with students who are impacted by an academic disability
or require additional academic support.
AmyBeth Ranieri graduated with her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s College in New York. Following her undergraduate program, she completed her graduate work at Long Island University where she received her Master’s Degree in Special Education.
In addition to being a Special Educator, she is also a certified Orton- Gillingham instructor. She completed the comprehensive program through the Institute for Multiple- Sensory Education (IMSE).
Orton-Gillingham, which is an accredited method of reading instruction for students with dyslexia, provides students with the opportunity to participate in a multi- sensory approach to reading. Provided with ongoing, explicit instruction that incorporates visual, tactile and kinesthetic modalities, students will learn a systematic approach to learning.
